myhappyclass.edu.vn only asks for information needed for each purpose. Marketing is processed with a suitable consent mechanism; you may refuse or opt out. Refusing marketing does not affect a purchased plan.

Account

Scope: name, email, phone, organisation/class details, authentication data. Purpose: registration, account identification, contact, and support.

Plans and payments

Scope: purchased plan, term, amount, transaction code, invoice details. Purpose: reconciliation, activation, renewal, refunds, and accounting duties.

Class data

Scope: student, parent, schedule, attendance, tuition, and notes entered by the customer. Purpose: provide class-management features as requested.

Support

Scope: request content, email, and files you send. Purpose: verify issues, fix incidents, and handle complaints.

Public profile

Scope: introduction, expertise, images, and contact details the profile owner chooses to publish. Purpose: show a tutor introduction page as chosen by the owner.

Technical data

Scope: IP, device, browser, access logs, or other data actually collected. Purpose: operate and protect the system and analyse errors within the notified scope.

Before processing data that requires consent, myhappyclass.edu.vn provides information about the data, purpose, processors, and data-subject rights, and records consent as required. Visiting the website or remaining silent is not consent to every processing activity.

Where the law allows processing without consent, we only process within that legal scope. If the purpose changes, we notify you and complete required steps first.

For class data entered by the customer, the customer decides the purpose and scope; myhappyclass.edu.vn processes it under the service agreement. Each party’s role follows actual activity and the data-processing arrangement. For account and payment data used in our own operations, we are responsible according to our actual role.

Customers must have a lawful basis to collect and enter data. For children’s data, the customer and myhappyclass.edu.vn work together on age verification and consent of the child and/or legal representative where the law requires it, in the child’s best interests. The customer’s duties do not remove our responsibility.

Student, parent, and class data are not automatically published on a public tutor profile. Profile owners may only publish information they have the right to use. Students or parents may contact the class manager or myhappyclass.edu.vn for help exercising data rights.

Information is accessed only as needed by people assigned to operate, support, account for, or protect the system; processors we actually engage; and competent authorities with a lawful basis.

myhappyclass.edu.vn does not sell personal data. Class data is not used for advertising or AI-model training outside notified purposes and a lawful basis. Sub-processors may only process data within the assigned scope and must meet suitable confidentiality requirements. If data is transferred abroad, we fulfil applicable duties and provide necessary information. We do not default to claiming that data is stored only in Vietnam until this is verified.

Information is kept for as long as needed for the notified purpose, service delivery, and legal duties — not indefinitely by default.

When we receive a deletion request, we verify the requester, determine the scope, and act within the applicable legal time limit. If part of the data must be kept, we explain why, the scope, and how long; use for other purposes is restricted. Backup-deletion time must not be used to unlawfully delay data-subject rights.

Accounts and class data

Kept while the service is provided; handled within 15 days after termination.

Data over the limit after a downgrade

Kept for 15 days.

Technical logs and support requests

Kept for 15 days.

Invoices, records, and dispute files

According to applicable legal periods and a specific lawful need to retain.

Backups

Rotation and deletion cycle: 15 days.

myhappyclass.edu.vn applies suitable organisational and technical measures to limit unlawful access, use, disclosure, or loss of data.

If an incident is found, we take steps to stop and fix it and notify relevant parties or authorities as required. Customers should protect login details and report suspected unauthorised access immediately.

Data subjects may exercise legal rights, including to be informed, consent or refuse, withdraw consent, access and request correction, request provision or deletion, restrict or object to processing, complain, and ask for protection of their interests where the law allows.

Send requests to hello@myhappyclass.edu.vn with your contact details, the relevant data, and what you need. We only ask for necessary verification information and never ask for a password or OTP. If the software does not yet have a self-service action, email us for help.

Withdrawing consent may affect features that need that data; we explain this before acting.

For valid requests within our responsibility as a controller or joint controller-processor, we reply on procedure within 2 business days. Performance periods follow Decree 356/2025/ND-CP and are counted from receipt of the request.

An extension may be used only once when necessary, up to the period allowed for each right, with notice and reasons. We do not extend only because of internal backlog. If the law sets a shorter period for a specific case, that period applies. As a processor, we cooperate with the controller under the agreement and applicable rules.
